New Year’s Festivities
New Year’s Eve Sesshin
We will ring out the old with an end of the year sitting. Sesshin begins at 9:00am and ends at 5:30pm. There will be alternate periods of sitting and walking meditation, service and lunch. Register here https://ryumonji.org/event-registration/ or via email office@ryumonji.org.

New Year’s Eve Bell Ringing Celebration
We will begin with an evening sitting at 7:30pm followed by a chanting of the Heart Sutra and ringing of the Obonsho Bell 108 times. Each strike signifies releasing old attachments to bring in a fresh new year. This is a family friendly event, everyone will have the opportunity to strike the bell.
